| Introduction | I love to sew and craft and currently, I have taken over two and a half rooms in my house in order to play. I also live on an airpark. When we want to go flying, we roll open the hangar doors and pull the plane out. The runway is at the edge of my backyard. Which I also like to play in. I live on an acre where I garden - both flowers and the edible things. The blog has turned out to be a surprisingly good place to put all those flower photos. My good friend, Pencil Girl, named my blog - Running With Rocket. Named after my roaming labrador - Rocket - my journal is a rambling snapshot of my life. Rocket passed on October 8th, 2011. We miss him terribly. |

| Favorite Movies | I have been catching Grimm on Hulu.tv, Portlandia on IFC, Doc Martin wherever I can catch it. |
| Favorite Music | Eclectic. I like just about anything. My Ipod tends towards fast-paced music. I love what my kids listen to as well. Muse is a recent discovery -- Reminds me of Queen. Flogging Molly and Modest Mouse are fun. Lyle Lovett and his orchestra is a fave, and who couldn't love Elton John? Anything with lots of piano. |
| Favorite Books | Techno-Thrillers. Romances. Books about Ireland, airplanes, crafts, sewing, yogurt-making, not necessarily in any order. I usually have about ten books checked out from the library at any given moment with more in the pipeline hold. I have been known to read multiple books concurrently. |
