| Favorite Music | Folksy, rootsy, bluesy, country. John Denver lights my fire, as does Caroline Herring. I also love classical, particularly the clarinet. |
| Favorite Books | the novels of John Irving and Anne Tyler and Madeleine L'Engle often wow me; the non-fiction stylings of Scott Russell Sanders do the same; Het boek van alle dingen (The Book of Everything) by Guus Kuijer knocked my socks off last year; Short Cuts: Selected Stories by Raymond Carver amazed me too. |
