| Introduction | I am a Grandmother to Beautiful Hailey. Hailey is 3 years old and has Athetoid Cerebral Palsy. I started this blog as a way to keep my family informed about Hailey’s progress. It has indirectly been therapeutic for me to be able to put my thoughts down. I had no idea how many friendships I would gain writing this blog. I have met so many other families through blogging that have family members with disabilities. Welcome to this very special club. After 20 years of playing with art, most recently I am proud of writing and illustrating my first children’s book. “ABC’s Flowers and Trees A Walk In The Public Gardens”. This was Inspired by Hailey’s love for books. Like many other children Hailey loves to be read to. It has become my mission to help others with disabilities to find resources that they need to help their loved ones as well as let others know that they are not alone and together we can educate others about how to talk and play with people who are a bit different. |
