Introduction Hi there! The name’s Charmaine, a groovy gal from the Canadian prairies. This wee web page started out as a travel diary while overseas during the summer in 2011, but has morphed into a space where I share my vintage inspired style, photography, travels, activities I get up to, thoughts about all things off beat, current, and political, ranging from fashion to feminism. I am a politics and pop culture junkie, avid traveler, lover of the visual and performing arts, and thrive on all things novel. I’ve lived in Toronto, Canada and London, England, but currently call Edmonton, Alberta home. I have a degree in English Literature and Art History from the University of Alberta, and currently study Arts Administration where I am making my first forays into non-profit arts management, curating, fundraising and grant writing. All photos are styled by me with clothing from my personal collection. I wear almost exclusively secondhand clothing or items from independent designers. Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you stay along for the ride! If you have questions or comments, please email me at charmainelowe1 (at) gmail (dot) com. Cheers!
