Introduction As John Newton said: I am a great sinner, and Jesus is a great savior. Reliance on this savior is what I strive for. It is my constant fight to rest in Him. The best things about me are the girls in my life, I have three wonderful girls (one adult and two children) who are the loves of my life. I can't get enough of them. If you have spent any time around them you know why. They are an incredible manifestation of the mercy of God in my life. I work as a financial planner with Mustard Seed Financial and am the Chief Financial Officer at Peoples Bank in Magnolia.
Interests Theology, Family, Friends, Financial Planning
Favorite Movies Tombstone is classic, I love Luther, Amazing Grace is...well... amazing, Batman Returns was great, as well as The Dark Knight
Favorite Music Caedmon's Call, Indelible Grace, Sovereign Grace Ministries, Old Hymns that are used to teach great theology. I love Lecrae (check him out).
Favorite Books Wow is there a character limit on this one? The Bible is first, followed very distantly by Desiring God, The Pleasures of God, Let the Nations Be Glad all by John Piper, Putting the Amazing Back Into Grace by Mike Horton, When Sinners Say I Do by Dave Harvey, The Doctrine of God by John Frame, The Deliberate Church by Mark Dever, Humility: True Greatness by C.J. Mahaney, The God Who is There by Francis Schaeffer, Holiness by J.C. Ryle, Christ Centered Preaching by Bryan Chappell, Preaching and Preachers by Martin Lloyd-Jones (the Doctor), Paul Apostle of God's Glory in Christ by Tom Schreiner, Becoming Conversant with the Emerging Church by D.A. Carson, I could go on, but that's enough for now. Oh yeah, the Fair Tax Book by Neal Boortz is great as well. He is an intriguing author.
