Introduction I live in North Idaho with my sweet hubby Doug, my daughter Ruth, 3 cats, and my dog Zoey. I learned to knit when I was 9 years old from my father, I taught myself crochet when I was in high school (from a book), I took up machine knitting in 1989 when I got my first machine, I learned cross stitch in 2000 because I bought a needle craft shop in 1999, The House of Needlecraft, and that was one of the things I carried. Learned beading in 2003 cos I wanted to. Had to close the shop in January 2006. Now I do anything I want to (semi-retired?). Life is good.
Interests Knitting, beading, designing, counted cross stitch, machine knitting, embroidery, gardening, reading, watching movies, music
Favorite Movies Star Trek, Singing in the Rain, Phantom of the Opera, all the Jurassic Park movies, Godzilla (with Matthew Broderick), The Sum of All Fears, all things Star Trek, the Star Wars series, and really bad B Science Fiction movies. The worse, the better. heh heh...
Favorite Music Actually, the question should be what music DON'T I like, cos the list is much shorter. I don't like Rap, Hip Hop, and most Country Music. Everything else is cool.
Favorite Books The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield, A History of God by Karen Armstrong, Lord of the Rings, The Peter Wimsey series by Dorothy Sayers, The needlecraft mysteries written by Monica Ferris.

Well, maybe they don't need them, but don't you think that some fish might like a bicycle?

No, I don't.
