Introduction	A Canadian from Vancouver, I've recently moved to Chennai, India to do development work as a first step in a journey to a new career path. That and my experiences here are the subject of most of my posts. I most love life, everything outdoors, wild places and travelling. I like long walks on the beach and Piña Coladas, but I also like long climbs on rock and snow and tinny boiled water, so I leave you to figure that one out... I seem to be at my best when I'm smack in the middle of new experiences, challenges and change. I hate to define myself through it, but because it'll come out in my posts anyway, my academic and work background is engineering, science, business and nonprofit.
Interests	Life, travelling, good friends, everything outdoors, the mountains and moving through them, salty air, camping, treking, open-air transport, girls, dragonflies, mountaineering, climbing, cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing, snowboarding, running, triathlons, ultimate frisbee, the colour green, I have yet to find a subject that isn't interesting, I could go on... ;-)
