Introduction I am in great shape for the shape I am in at (gulp!) 72 years young. ENjoying life in our new digs in Reno, NV. I am already involved in Red Hats here in Reno...The Ruby Chappeaux, and Newcomers Club where I am now the co-editor of the monthly Newsletter for some 1300 members. I still continue to look for dead people (Genealogy research) and my current time killer is FACEBOOK...and Farming! LOL I've never worked so hard in my life, and it never ends...plow the fields, feed the lifestock, gather the eggs...I really should get a life!
Interests GRANDCHILDREN #12 currently, ranging in age from 22 down to almost 2 (April 29th)
Favorite Movies Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, French Kiss, Rainman...this is because my youngest son, Todd, is/was a Tom Cruise look-alike, so whenever I am lonesome for Todd, I put on my Rainman CD and it back and enjoy the show...this whole movie is sooo TODD with the temper tandrum scenes~! LOL
Favorite Music Classical piano, smooth jazz, the Beatles, big band sounds, sexy sax
Favorite Books My favorites! There are sooo many! I think in Authors first and then favorites of their works. Starting with my very favorite author, Barbara Taylor Bradford.I have ALL of her books, but her first one, "A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE" and the subsequent Emma Hart series, is still my all time favorite. I enjoy all of the John Grisham, Tom Clancy, Robert Ludlum, Nora Robets, Mary Higgins Clark...I have most of her books, James Patterson...especially the Alex Cross series, Patricia Cornwell, Catherine Coulter, Maueve Binchy's Scarlet Feather, Quentins, Tara Road, were favorites, but love them all; LaVyrl Spencer. Rosamunde Pilcher...her"The Shell Seekers" anothere alltime favorite, and I have to mention one other book. . . ""...And Ladies Of The Club" by Helen Hooven Santmyer is SOOO GOOD! And is my inspiration. It's 1176 pages was a product of 50 years of work by an 88 year-old author, so I still have hope that I will come through one of these decades!
