| Introduction | My Name is Maya and I am 29 years old. I live among a group of extremely small towns along in Washington State. I teach yoga, and sometimes get to work as a birth doula too. I cook gluten and corn free food from scratch, daily. I enjoy (among many, many other things)art, music, creating, reading, biking, and swimming. We just bought our first home (a 1910 Craftsman bungalow) last Spring, and we are working diligently as a family to restore it to it's previous beauty. It has always been a dream of mine to have a beautiful old house in a small town, so this is really exciting for me. I love my family passionately, believe in the healing powers of food and nature, and have a true appreciation the simple things in life. I am so greatful for the experience of Motherhood, and for the lessons I learn daily through this journey. |
