Depressed Mormon Mommy

About me

Gender Female
Introduction I think being a mom is incredibly difficult, and sometimes it blows. I make comments about sex in Relief Society. I don't know how to make hair bows, or sew, or scrapbook. I dislike mothers and teenage daughters who wear matching outfits. I Hate driving through Happy Valley. I have an intense testimony of Jesus Christ. I am in a marriage where full commitment means fighting sometimes. I think homogeneous communities slowly kill themselves from the inside out. I am a hypocrite on many levels. I talk too much, especially when I'm nervous. I never quite feel like I fit in in a crowd of LDS women, whether it's in a church meeting or online. If I can't be honest here, I may develop ulcers. I believe the people that are the most unfairly hard on mothers are: Other Mothers.
