Occupation | English/writing |
Location | ND, United States |
Introduction | I'm a writer, a university English instructor, and an intern at Corvisiero Literary Agency. |
Interests | Reading, writing, political junkie, current events, cooking, biking, art, theatre, TV, playing with the kids, walking, video games, internet surfing |
Favorite Movies | Too many to name. |
Favorite Books | I spend a lot of time reading, but even as an English major, I'm not a stuffy literary elitist. I'm not all academically in love with classics. I prefer contemporary and popular lit. My favorite series of novels is Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series. I also like Patricia Cornwell, Dean Koontz (not his older creepy stuff), Eoin Colfer's "Artemis Fowl" series is good, Clive Cussler, some of Louis L'Amour is okay, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Eragon (the movie sucked), Inkheart. I liked Farenheit 451 but not a big fan of Bradbury in general. I don't believe that every book must have some "Big Important Meaning." |
