Introduction Deep in the trying, formative, wonderful years of early marriage and seminary, I am a graduate student at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. My wife and I are originally from Austin, Texas, faithfully subscribing to and experiencing what Stanley Hauerwas calls "the ontological superiority of being a Texan."
