| Introduction | Leading Forward is a devotional and inspirational faith blog by Dr. Cathy R. Turner. I find great passion in supporting people in their journey of faith. My role as Director of Education at Christ United Methodist Church allows me to do this through the development of ministries and through teaching Bible studies. I enjoy sharing my journey of faith and what I’ve learned through facing some of life’s challenges. It is my hope that this blog will provide a resource and discussion outlet for people trying to move forward in their faith walk. I spent 25 years as a high school English teacher and Change Coach before earning a Doctor of Education degree in Learning and Leadership. In addition to my work as Director of Education, I enjoy work as a certified life coach and help people live in their God-given strengths. I serve as a consultant in organizational development and organize national and international travel through my company, Travel Works. I am a proud mother of two sons and two daughters-in-law, and granddaughter Stella. I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, and singing. |
