| Introduction | I grew up on a hobby farm, spent 20 years happily oblivious, married and working in the software industry, and then in 2005 discovered this whole other world of Peak Oil, Climate Change, environmentalism, local food, ecovillages, relocalization, and Transition Towns. I used to be a zombie in the consumerist culture, and now I'm ready to think for myself and opt out.
