| Introduction | I was always the left brained kid in the right brained family. I was envious of the art ability of various relatives, wishing to make beautiful things but not knowing how. After 30 years of teaching in special education, the last 18 with infants and toddlers, I retired to start a new life. From tole painting to stamping to The Artists' Nook classes to art retreats, the path to the world of color continues. The art space is now being purged of those tools I no longer use (many HAPPY friends!) and papers, paints and covers for books fill the space. I paint pages most days and am enjoying seeing the world in new eyes as I take photos to alter and add to the pages. I have found a place in the world of art! |
