Introduction	Michael and Jackie are the blessed parents of three. We live in Eastern Oregon and have been married for 20+ years now. Michael is in the Oregon National Guard, and also works as a federal technician as a tank mechanic for his civilian job. He is a proud veteran of the War in Iraq. I'm a full-time mom currently using my degree in Crop and Soil Science to help homeschool our children. Our family's dream has recently been realized as we now own a small homestead where we can raise/grow/make more of our own food. I decided to keep the name "Homestead Wannabes" as we will always be wannabes to some extent because we will be continually learning. Our family's mission is to raise up godly children who love and serve the Lord with all their hearts.
Interests	Homeschooling, bible study, healthy cooking from scratch, riding dirt bikes and ATVs, blogging, Facebooking, scrapbooking and fiddling and quilting.
