| Introduction | I started scrapbooking and cardmaking in 2007, and have been addicted to it ever since! I love stamping and have recently treated myself to some Copic pens - which has has been as much of a revelation as when I first started scrapping and discovered that not being able to draw any better than when I was 5 didn't mean I couldn't create great pages and cards. I now find that I can colour reasonably well... so just the drawing to work on now then :) I attend regular classes at Scrapbook Sisters, and through these and the other classes and crops I go to have met many friends and have learnt so much! I work full time, but try to do a little bit of crafting every day as it helps me unwind after work and dealing with the kids! I also enjoy cooking, and have recently started baking again - i'm not to sure that this will have a positive effect on my waistline though! I get my ideas from all sorts of places, but my main inspirations are from class, blogs and magazines, or I sit and sketch an idea out then go for it (but only if I'm feeling brave!)... |
