Introduction	I have loved nature since my earliest childhood memories of climbing in the abandoned apple orchard behind my house in upstate New York and dashing down the sand dunes at Cape Cod's First Encounter Beach. Boy Scouts taught me to protect our wilderness, as well. My blog, Naturally Catawba, will celebrate the joys of our great natural resource and also discuss the threats to its health, and ours.
