| Introduction | I am a believer in Jesus Christ who accepts the Bible as the absolute, literal word of God. After 35 years on this earth, I became born again in 2002. I was tired of looking to money, music, possessions and sexual desires to satisfy me. In fact, they weren't working anymore and I was miserable, I had lost my sense of purpose and wanted a change. Everything changed the night I prayed a prayer with a preacher on the television. With that prayer, I started down a different road in my life. And it hasn't been easy, I've struggled with the sin in my life but the Lord has blessed me in ways I never would have imagined. After years struggling to find the perfect woman, I am now married to a beautiful wife and have two baby girls. I went through the phases of a baby Christian starting with TV's "prosperity self-help" gospel and then found a good Bible-based church that challenged me to understand the word of God. As I studied the Bible, I kept seeing the call to evangelize which bothered me because I had always been fearful to speak out. In 2008 I have challenged myself to speak out boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. |
