Introduction	We love wine. Well, I-Jeff-maybe love it a little more than Mandy, but when it comes to drinking the stuff, we love it equally. This blog is an outlet for me to talk about the deeper elements of wine appreciation that I can't always talk about with non-geeks. It's not that they don't care; they just get really, really bored I think. And that isn't to say anyone else will care what I have to say anyway. In which case, this will just be an outlet for me to practice writing until someone does care.

Favorite Movies	Karate Kid, Stepbrothers, Napoleon Dynamite, O Brother Where Art Thou, Blackhawk Down, The Big Lebowski
Favorite Music	Metal. Soul. Jazz. Classical. All in equal portions. Absolutely no contemporary country, except for REAL country, a.k.a. Bluegrass, like Old Crow Medicine Show or Yonder Mountain. That said, mad respect for the likes of George Strait and Randy Travis. True cowboys. Not spray-on tan, frosted tip, girly-voice cowboys who couldn't ride the horses in front of a Wal-Mart. Almost forgot: Steve Winwood, who reminds us we should all get back in the high life again, no matter the circumstances.
Favorite Books	The Myth of Certainty (Daniel Taylor), Soul Survivor (Philip Yancey), Neither Here Nor There (Bill Bryson), Cormac McCarthy's Border Trilogy, and oddly enough, most everything by Willa Cather.
