| Introduction | starbarista is produced by Brian Jones, a photographer and podcaster based in London. He started this podcast series/blog because he is passionate about coffee and cafe culture. His professional experience with coffee began in the early '90s in Albuquerque, New Mexico at EJ's Coffee House. He then moved on to Philadelphia where he worked as a barista for three years at the Last Drop Coffee House. The experiences and friends he gathered during these formative years have contributed to his belief in the community building powers of the coffee shop. This blog is an attempt to document this community on a global level by telling the stories of the people involved in all aspects of cafe and coffee culture. |
