About me

Industry Non-Profit
Occupation Radical Geographer
Location Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Introduction I have been writing for Lumpen, under a variety of psuedonyms (ES Worm, Edible Sea Worm, Ian Al-Sabbah, etc) since 1995. I grew up on the North Side of Chicago, attended A.G. Bell Elementary School and Gordon Tech High School. I lived in Brazil from 1991-1995, and from December 1999 to present. I like to post on the conversation and on this blog stay in touch with my beloved hometown of Chicago. As Jimmy Johnson once sang, "It's cold and its dirty, that's why I'll always roam, but I'll never desert it. Talking about Chicago, it's my home".
