| Introduction | This is Tanu Sharma,journalist and a news anchor.When I started my career, which was in January 2002, Indian media was still waking up to the wonders of television as a medium of unbiased information. Now, with over thirteen years of relentless passion for journalism, and with five news channels (Jain, Sahara, Zee, P7 and India TV) I want to expand my horizon in creative world and hopes to contribute immensely to the this field.My prime area of interest is politics but I am also a human rights, women and child rights and minority rights advocate and always fight to bring light to these stories. I am also an avid reader,writer and critiques movies, poetry and everyday issues in my spare time. Intellectual debates and penning my thoughts, be it for my blog or short stories or poetry, is not a hobby but part of my very existence. I have also translated a book in Hindi '10,000 km on Indian highways' which deals with business, logistics and transportation. So, all I am trying to say is that I am just another human being on this planet with hyper active mind and very strong surviving instincts.
