Introduction After serving as a priest at St Richard and Holy Family Parishes in Jackson, Mississippi for 2 1/2 years, and then in Yazoo and Humphreys Counties in the Mississippi Delta for 2 years and in Tupelo in Northeast Mississippi for 4 1/2 years, I am now the pastor of St Jude Catholic Church in the city of Pearl, just outside of the city of Jackson in central Mississippi. Since the summer of 2019, I have also been serving as the Vicar General of the Diocese. I love being a priest here in Mississippi, and am very passionate about my service to God and his people. This blog contains the daily and Sunday homilies that I preach at my parish, as well as other items of interest.
