Introduction | Now in my ninth year (whoa!), I feel I've done so much. I've taught in the suburbs, country, and now in the city. Throughout my 9 short years, I've taught sheltered, remedial, expelled, honors, special ed, ELL courses, teaching eight subjects, department chair, seen the ins and outs of the non-renewal process, and experienced epic triumph and sobering lows. I started this blog with no specific purpose other than to write. One aspect has already been made clear to me: that there are two worlds in education. The classroom that I love, and the dysfunctional morass that surround schools that I revile. |
