Introduction	I am a retired special education teacher, poet, novelist, first soprano, occasional painter and guitar player living in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. My two adult children continue to bring joy and laughter to my life, and now I am a grandmother as well! I am blessed with a smart, generous, loving husband and a constant canine companion, Stella. I love God. Talking to Him saves me from myself everyday. I also maintain a blog called COEXIST because I believe He loves us all and simply expects us to love each other while we're here on Earth.

Favorite Movies	Sorry, but I have to say, The Sound of Music., In 2003 I got to visit Salzburg and sing in the cathedral - a pinnacle moment in my life. Also, Pleasantville, Forest Gump, Edward Scissorhands, Wizard of Oz and Bringing Up Baby (1939)
Favorite Music	Tori Amos, - always. Ani DiFranco, Imogene Heap, Charlotte Martin, Fiona Apple, Marc Cohn, Shawn Colvin, James Taylor, Amy Grant - also Brahms, Mozart, Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein.
Favorite Books	So many - but a few: The Dovekeepers, The Marriage of Opposites, The Help, Cutting For Stone, The Book Thief, Memoirs of a Geisha, Water for Elephants, Middlesex, The Road Less Traveled, Plainsong, The Patron Saint of Liars, The Memory Keeper's Daughter, non-fiction by Anne Lamott.
