Introduction Hi, I'm Lori. I'm not fond of "about me" sections. This is because I resist labels so adamantly. It's generally more comfortable for us to read "about me" sections that give us a nice tidy list of labels to which we can relate, such as "mother," "daughter," "partner," "writer," "poet," "lesbian," "vegetarian," "breeder of circus monkeys," "cross country unicyclist," "professional lint analyst," etc. While being able to quickly identify with someone because you may share a label with them might bring a quick sense of identification, I have my doubts as to whether it is a very useful way to genuinely connect with another human being. Labels tend to separate as much, if not more, than they unite. While they work great for canisters in the kitchen, I find they don't work as well for humans. Life for me has been, and always will be, about transforming gravity. If you're not sure what that means, I hope you will stay for just a few minutes of your precious time (and it IS precious) and read. It is my sincere hope that you will find something to which you can relate or identify with in a meaningful way.

The love potion you made tastes terrible. How will you drink it?

If I really MUST drink something that tastes terrible, like cough medicine, or in this case...love potion...I hold my nose so I can't taste it.
