Introduction I grew up in Pasadena, California, and have lived near the edge of the Arroyo my whole life. First with my parents and sister, and then later with my own family, with a son and three daughters. I had a happy and busy life. As the kids grew I also went back to school, earning my RN degree. I then worked at the hospital where I was born, as well as where I had my own children. I always had a desire to paint but never gave it much thought until one day...and the story goes from there. I became self taught until studying watercolor with, Nuttall, Wiegardt, Stoddard, and Swenson, some of the best. From there I went to Art Center College of Design, up on the hill, where I first learned of my passion to also paint in oil. I was signed up to take a workshop with, Charles Reid who is my very favorite artist in watercolor and oil. Since fall, I have been dealing with breast cancer so my desires to take certain classes have to go on the back burner for now. Just a bump in the road is all. I also have great admiration for the talent of Jeremy Lipking. I check out his work frequently and am in awe. He is really good..!!
Interests Family, home and country, flower and vegetable gardens, dear friends, Jack(my loyal dog), music, photography, my God given art talents, honesty, loyalty, a sense of humor. A never ending desire to learn. All of this with the help of God.
Favorite Music I love music, and listen to soft rock, classical, and a little country.
Favorite Books Art books, and medical/nursing text books.

As a girl, what did I want to be when I grew up? Answer: I wanted to be a cowgirl, soda jerk, nurse or doctor, wife mother, and artist. I guess I should be happy, I did them all. The cowgirl part was summers at the farm in Montana. I studied hard to become a Registered Nurse and then an Artist. All fulfilling but wife/Mother were my heart. <3
