| Introduction | 74 year old male graduated from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, but did not pursue a governmental career. Used my Accounting minor to further my career. Spent 9 years as Benedictine monk in California, until some health issues forced me to get a dispensation from my vows. Would love to be connected secularly to some religious order. I am active in my parish. I have a structured program for Bible reading and spiritual reading as well. I live in an Assisted Living Facility and have scads of time on my hands. I really enjoy the Concord Pastor site and what a great idea to have a music side bar for the Holy Spirit novena. I gear myself to a monastic schedule even though I am no longer a monk because of health issues which have since abated; however, I past the age now for acceptance, but perhaps I can engage in a secular capacity, if any one would have some info they'd wish to share. |
