| Introduction | I am a published writer for children’s magazines. My aspiration is to publish children’s books. The purpose of my blog is to document my journey to becoming a picture book author. I hope that my blog will also serve as a helpful tool or guide for writers wanting to be authors. I am a dental hygienist by day, a writer by night, and a wife and mother all the time. My 2 young boys are a constant source of inspiration for my writing. My journey as a writer began only 4 years ago. I have a long way to go to being a published book writer, but I am determined.
