| Introduction | I have 5 children, a daughter and twin boys that I placed for adoption and two boys that I am raising with my husband. I am the author of a children's book titled The Best For You that explains why one mother chose adoption for her children. I have written articles for The Open Adoption Examiner, Adoptions From The Heart, The National Council For Adoption and have an eBooklet that was published by Tapestry Books titled Guilt, Grief and Pride. My story is not all jelly beans and happiness. Sure, I have lived and evolved, but that road was not traveled in a rose colored world! I may have peace now but I am not at all afraid to tell you how it was, how very difficult this life has been. I feel that you can learn nothing from looking the other way but you can learn a LOT from looking the beast right in the eyes. I am one very fortunate woman who has relationships with all of my children and count my blessings in life...one at a time. |

| Favorite Movies | Anything Tarintino, Scorsese, Ford Coppola or that has Meryll Streep in it...she is BRILLIANT! Comedies are king, but I also love a good thriller or adventure. The best movie I saw this year was The Hurt Locker. |
| Favorite Music | Johnny Cash, heavy metal...yeah, I said heavy metal...Motown, Pink Flyod, Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, Pink, Joss Stone... just about anything you put on I will like. I was a music store manager for a long time so my appreciation is limitless. |
| Favorite Books | I am currently reading The Girls Who Went Away by Ann Fessler. It is the second time I am reading it, and it is just as insightful and heartbreaking as the first time. |
