| Introduction | Hi! I'm Kaity from Bitten Books. I review adult, young adult and middle grade titles that usually fall into the following genres: romance (paranormal, historical and contemporary), fantasy (urban and high), science fiction (dystopia and steampunk) and mystery (cozy). For several years I've participated in my own little '100 book challenge' (read 100 books in a year) and simply kept a list of those books for myself. I love sharing what I'd read with my friends but all of them being nonreaders meant I was mostly talking to myself. Bitten Books was created as an outlet for my book passion and was never intended to be anything more. I am a twenty one year old college student with a passion for reading. I grew up with Harry Potter and those will always be my favorite books but some of the others that wormed their way into my heart include: Magic Bleeds by Ilona Andrews, Moon Called by Patricia Briggs and Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. There is only one thing that outshines my love for reading, animals. I have two orange tabby cats (Webster and Zimmie) as well as a Yorkiepoo puppy (Padfoot). I also volunteer at least once a week at a therapeutic horseback riding center. |
