Introduction	My blog is about my love for Italian life. I was born in London but am now part of an Anglo-Italian family and we live in Lucca in Northwestern Tuscany, a very beautiful part of the world with amazing food. I started out as a musician and then became a fine bookbinder and conservator. However, since living in Italy I have worked as a teacher and translator but mainly with tourists and just occasionally dipping my toes back into the world of books and art. Life in Tuscany has bought many challenges and frustrations but also delights. I kick myself sometimes to remind me that I live in the heart of where the Renaissance began.
