Interests Being retired now, I'm interesting in learning more about these so-called "Golden Years". Is it like being young again? Is it simply waiting for the conclusion of life, eternity? In general my interests still involve artistic things, with a desire to finally write, and create things that will last beyond my lifetime. But, I am also aware that it is simply a relief not to be "working for the man" any longer. My opinion... all those years working were a waste of my life... ironically my years as a custodian at schools and colleges far out-weighed my "professional" years in computer/technical support. The former was meaningful yet the prejudice I experienced was pretty common. My years sitting at a desk as a "professional" was respectable, yet a horror-show... humiliating and exhausting. No I don't feel young again, to answer my question, but I do feel I've now a second chance at living my life. I love reading, watching TV - the shows today are by far more awesome than those of yesteryear. I am "free"... now if only I could find a woman to share my freedom!
Favorite Movies "Outlander", "Orphan Black", "Bosch", "The Closer", "The Expanse", "Grey's Anatomy", "Major Crimes", "Stumptown", "Arrow", "Legends of Tomorrow", "Flash", "Mind-Hunter", ID Go, Mad Max series; Showtime's, "Weeds", and "Dexter", Fox's "24", BBC - "Doctor Who"; "Wire in the Blood"; "Torchwood"; "Fringe" on Fox; "FireFly"; "Alias"; "Sin City"; "24"; "DollHouse"; "Tomb Raider"; "UnderWorld"; "Have"; Bitten"; "Resident Evil"; "Once Upon A Time"; "La Femme Nikita"; "Lost Girl"; and many more... "Dollhouse" - the series, another great show, canceled by Fox. I'm a Trekkie too. And Omar and Kumar - "Escape from Guantanamo Bay"... a favorite! The best part was when they're getting stoned with our ex-Pres., George Bush at his ranch in Texas. I have lot's of favorites...

How are you different from 50 years ago? ANSWER: I was open to gaining insight, into people, nature, highly motivated. I was willing to try new ideas, on a spiritual journey, seeking knowledge. I was naive and ignorant, too influenced by my family, what others thought, a slave to tradition. I was the fool. Now I have knowledge and experience, I am self-aware. Where do I go from here??
