| Introduction | For over four years Robert has been the President of the San Francisco Zen Center, a Zen Buddhist community with three residential practice centers, Tassajara, City Center, and Green Gulch Farm. Before becoming President Robert served as Director of the City Center and has held numerous other senior staff positions since first coming to the Zen Center in 1993. Robert was ordained as a priest in 2000, and received Dharma Transmission from former Abbot of Zen Center, Zoketsu Norman Fischer. He has been married to Samantha Ostergaard since 2001 and they live together in San Francisco. |
