Introduction | In the sunshine: Reference librarian at a public library in the glorious American Midwest
By the light of the moon: Unruly Reader! (maybe I should get a cape?*) I’ll read almost anything, but mostly I like tons of nonfiction, plus general fiction and mysteries. But I read whatever I feel like reading, so really, it could be *anything*. My logo is based on a photo of me at age 3, reading outdoors on the lid of my tractor-tire sandbox. I’m pretty sure my mom had told me to go outside and play… so I did. Despite my early book-cataloging tendencies (when I was 10, I typed Author, Title, and Series catalog cards for all of my books), it took me another 11 years to realize I was librarian material. Non-book things I like: running, airplanes, chocolate, presidential history, House Hunters, coffee, Downton Abbey, windmills, and Washington, DC I’m a wretched player of Scrabble. Views are my own, not those of my employer or anyone linked to work. *I already have a cape |
