| Introduction | I am a single dad, which takes up most of my time - and I'm back at college re-training to be an accountant, which takes up the rest. I used to be a pub/restaurant manager by trade, I do sometimes miss the social aspects of the job, and of course having someone to cook for me on demand... I really don't miss 120 hour weeks, or booze deliveries you can measure by the ton! |

| Favorite Movies | Too many to mention, I pretty much hate most stereotypical "Hollywood" movies, and I never really seem to 'get' Indie films. Anything a little different will spark my interest. Best movie nobody's ever heard of: Dear America, Letters Home From Vietnam. Find it. Buy it. Watch it. Cry like a little girl. |
| Favorite Music | I have fairly eclectic tastes here too, though I am getting on a bit now, so dance and heavy metal don't really do it for me... and Rap pretty much just pisses me off. Indie; Rock; R&B (both the modern definition; and the older one); Classical (love it when I'm playing poker); Motown; Soul; Funk; Folk; Swing... you get the idea. |
| Favorite Books | WAY too many to mention. A few of my favourite authors may be easier: John Le Carrè; Wilbur Smith; Harlan Coben; Stephanie Meyer (I know, not my genre at all.. but really her books are great) Tom Clancy; Dickens, Keats, Wordsworth, Hardy, Homer in the original ancient Greek. Okay, maybe not, but the translations are pretty cool. |
