Introduction	I have lived in Canada for 17 years, and consider this my home. I am originally from Brazil. I love nurturing people, taking care of my friends and family, usually with food! I adore my mom, my brother and my niece, so every year my son and I go to Brazil to spend some time with them. I love my life, but still struggle being "just at home" (not working outside). SO I have decided to make the best of it: cook, do some decorating, exercise, see my friends... read more... and, why not??? Start a blog!!!
Interests	Cooking, reading, being home with my pets, my son, my husband, chatting with friends, re-purposing vintage items and painting furniture!
Favorite Movies	As Good as it Gets, Jerry McGuire, Stepbrothers, A night in the Roxbury, The Fisher's King, The Hot Tub Machine (so funny!!), Must Love Dogs, I don't have a refined taste, hehe!
Favorite Music	U2, Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones, Queen, Sting, a bunch of people from the 80's and of course, a bunch of Brazilian singers and bands.
Favorite Books	I haven't read a good book in a while... I am currently reading Ask and it is Given, that my friend Zeila gave me for my Birthday. Last fiction I read was The Kite Runner; I hated it but could not stop reading. I read tons when I was younger and forgot them all...
