| Introduction | I consider myself to be a friendly, easy-going and positive person and believe that we have all been given a great opportunity to make the best of ourselves in our lives providing we choose the right direction. Having previously spent almost 5 years in the retail industry and been studying for a degree alongside a retail career, I graduated from University in July 2010 with a 2:1 'upper class' Honours Degree in Retail Management. In the final year of University I felt unhappy with my direction and felt a desire to try something new and COMPLETELY different, so I took my first flying lesson in a Cessna 152 at a flying club in Buckinghamshire, which is where my current journey begun! Since graduating from University, I have been solely focusing on flying and I qualified with my Private Pilot License in May 2011. I am really excited about the journey ahead as I train to become a Commercial Pilot and will take nothing for granted throughout this amazing learning and life-changing experience. As of 30 August 2011, I will commence Air Transport Pilots License studies for 8 months at London Metropolitan University whereby upon completion I will have passed 14 examinations. |
