| Introduction | Hello! I learned to make teddy bears from my mother when I was 11 years old. It's a bit of a Murphy family business- my parents still make and sell heritage style bears today. They instilled in me a great love of quality, craft and the history of toys. In my early 20's I revisited teddy bear making and developed my own line of bears and animals. It's been my primary focus for over 10 years and each day in the studio I discover something new through the process of making.
