Introduction I'm an author and screenwriter. My first novel, Go Down Hard, was First Runner Up for Killer Nashville's Claymore Award before being published by Brash Books in 2015. I've written numerous short stories, two of which were nominated for Anthony awards. I wrote and produced TV series and movies for more than four decades, including many network mysteries, such as Magnum P.I. and Simon & Simon. I wrote the Academy Award-nominated short film, Overnight Sensation and co-wrote the seminal NBC miniseries V: The Final Battle. I wrote hundreds of articles for magazines and newspapers worldwide and co-authored six nonfiction books, including two NYT #1 bestsellers, one pop-psychology (Toxic Parents) the other pop-gynecology (It's Your Body).

My first noir novella, Psycho Logic was published by Stark Raving Publishing in May 2014 ( see the video interview). My independent feature film Smuggling for Gandhi is slated to go into production in 2016. My work in progress is Go Down Screaming, a novel of sex, lies and crime-scene tape.
