Introduction I was born in Norfolk & have been birding all my life & combine this with my passion for photography. My father Peter Clarke founded the NOA in 1962 & was Warden at Holme Bird Observatory for over 33 years. My parents have written several books, including "Where to Watch Birds in East Anglia". My father passed away, aged 90 on 23.02.2017 & my mother Margaret, aged 78 on 07.08.2018. I have two sisters, Lucy & Vivien. I have seen several MEGAS in Norfolk inc: Ivory Gull, Fan-tailed Warbler, Thrush Nightingale, Pine Bunting, Stilt Sandpiper, White Crowned Sparrow, Dark Eyed Junco, Penduline Tit, Trumpeter Finch, Bee-eater, Radde's Warbler, Little Bittern, Pacific & American Golden Plovers, Collared & Black-winged Pratincole, Great Spotted Cuckoo, Black-headed Bunting, Alder Flycatcher, Collared Flycatcher, Great Snipe, Citril Finch, Eastern Rufous Bushchat, White-tailed Lapwing to name but a few! I worked as a Therapy Assistant on The Stroke Ward at The QEH in Norfolk for over 14 years. I relocated to Shetland on 2nd May 2023 where I now work as a Occupational Therapy Assistant at The Gilbert Bain Hospital. Love my new life!
Interests Birder, Birdwatching, Photography, Art, Walking, Dancing, Writing.
Favorite Movies The Bridges of Madison County. Any film starring Johnny Depp!
Favorite Music Dance, hip hop, disco, classical, Michael Jackson (massive fan and seen him 3 times in concert). Love listening to my sister Lucy play her violin who was classically trained at the RCM and love listening to all Shetland Music!
Favorite Books Collins Bird Guide is the birder's bible! Don't have a favourite book as such, but obviously enjoy all natural history books and love browsing book shops for old second-hand books.
