Introduction	I am an addiction psychiatrist focused on transforming treatment for addiction in America by offering a comprehensive continuum of care based in science, compassion, consumer choice, access and affordability. Americans don't have access to the fruits of the past 40 years of scientific research because the current treatment system is not designed to be a vehicle for delivering them. I have formed a company, ALLTYR, to provide a model for scientifically informed specialty addiction treatment and to help existing health care organizations transform their approach to substance use.
