Introduction | Having somehow slipped into the over 40 age bracket (when did that happen?), I escaped to the country with my toy boy husband (ok, he is only 2 years younger but they do say a woman is as old as the man she feels.....), bought our little cottage and have been living the good-life for the last 10 years. We keep chickens, 3 JRT's and a cat, grow our own veg and revel in every minute, along with the un-ending mud. I am a bit of a softie (waifs and strays never turned away!), a total period house addict, adore (& buy too much) vintage bed linen, drink too much wine, eat too much chocolate and adore my family, who are everything to me. Please note that Woozle 1967 has sadly passed away following a long and brave battle with scleroderma. However this blog, although it will not be updated, has been left open in memory of the most beautiful person I have ever known, and was privileged to have had at my side for not enough time. |
Interests | Reading, gardening, rural issues, animals, antiques, diy, period houses and blogging of course! |
