Introduction I am a compulsive baker. I make extra cookie dough so I can eat it while I wait for the cookies. I believe that you can eat pie anytime during the day. Breakfast pie is delicious. I am a brand new homeowner and am completely clueless. I like to learn how to bake new things and if you'd like to learn with me, hop on the baking train people! Let's go! One other thing...I don't like to use newfangled gizmo's for my baking. Mostly because I don't own them. Also because these recipes were invented before food processors and dough hooks. Also to be clear, I have since been given both a food processor and a stand mixer from my lovely family/friends. I may have to change my mantra, but for now I still try to stick to the basics. Baking is a labour of love, and so I find, in most cases, it tastes better when you actually labour. ;)

You've been invited to a fancy ball but the only thing you have to wear is an orange wooly jumper. What shoes do you wear?

No Shoes. Also, I definitly used to own an orange wooly jumper. Covered in cats.
