| Introduction | I am a mid-forties professional. Born and (mostly) raised in the Northeast, but have lived many years in the Southeast, too (Carolinas, Tennessee, FL). Through this blog we will discuss issues related to careers, both in corporate America (where I have mostly worked), but also small business and the American entrepreneur. I have children, under the age of 14, both boys and girls. I am interested in both local and the US government, but not so much pollitics, and despite my eternal optimism, have become greatly disillusioned with our US Congress in the past decade. A 'worthless institution may be too much of a complement'. But I am a believer that positive change will come about (usually does when things hit bottom, as they are now doing). |
