Introduction I write and post poetry on this blog, under the pen name, S.L. Corsua, to convey my observations, introspection, and imagination. Here, I have free rein to contemplate alternative beginnings as well as possible or impossible endings. I love playing with words; I get to do that here, millions of brain cells away from the technical BLAH-BLAH-BLAH of the law. ;)

I used to write prose many years ago, revelling in CW workshops while at it for two years or so, stopped when I pursued my Juris Doctor degree in Law, later resumed creative writing as a hobby, but this time I crossed over to poetry. It was love at first sight, so to speak, when, by chance, I heard a reading of Pablo Neruda's "If You Forget Me."

Caveat: I have a thing for alternating themes when I post here, i.e., from the generally 'fun/happy/light' to the generally 'serious/sad/heavy' poems and vice-versa. Occasionally, I also change the style. Cheers.
Interests poetry writing and reading, philosophy, singing (first or second soprano), photography, lucid dreaming
Favorite Music Ranging from classical to club music (haha). But the ones that originally 'moved' me, eight years ago, to write poem after poem after poem would be: Enya, and Michael Nyman's film scores for "The End of the Affair" and "Gattaca."
