Introduction	I love making things. This is my 6th year of teaching elementary school art but I haven't got there in a straight line! Upon graduation I taught Middle School for one year, then switched to Elementary where I taught for 4 years. In 2007 my husband was offered a job in NYC. We packed our bags and headed to the Big Apple. I worked part-time at a private art studio for children "The Artistry Project". This was a great opportunity to work with small groups of kids, but even better I became friends with owner who taught art in the NYC public school system. Kathy shared so many ideas with me that made me grow as an artist and teacher. After 3 years my husband then got a new job back in Cincinnati. In February I had the opportunity to carry out a long term substitute position at a High School. The following school year I was so fortunate to be teaching elementary school art again back in the same district I originally taught.
