| Introduction | Since a little girl, I have appreciated needlework of all types. Quilts have been a special interest to me and I started collecting quilts in the 1970's, making quilts with my personal touch in the 1980's. I enjoy making mini art quilts and what I call Blessing Flags. I use vintage fabrics, lace, beads and orphan quilt blocks I have collected over the years. A majority of my work is done by hand. Blessing Flags (also known as Prayer Flags) offer positive thoughts and blessings to others going through an illness or difficult times. I find myself always stiching. |
