| Introduction | I am the Conservative MP for Suffolk Coastal. I live in Suffolk and am in the constituency every weekend. I grew up in Liverpool and after receiving a PhD in Chemistry at UCL, I moved to Hampshire to work for Mars. I became a chartered management accountant and my last role was Finance Director for Mars Drinks UK. I most recently worked for the BBC in the Property Finance department. I joined the Conservatives in 1988 and have been active ever since. Hobbies? Speaker for the charity Water Aid, I watch England play (West End Level 1 is my favourite Wembley section), a pub quizzer and a CAMRA member, addicted to Sudoko and Scrabble; my other passion is music (Muse is my favourite band). I adopted Rizzo, a rescue dog from the Dogs Trust. Rizzo enjoys dragging me for walks and is rarely seen without a ball in her mouth. Already an expert at canvassing, Rizzo receives far more attention than I do when out campaigning. |
